There has been a change of plans. I suppose they have decided that the 7' draft on the Nina and Pinta could not make it across the Okeechobee waterway. The Nina and Pinta left St. Petersburg this morning, (Tuesday, 3/30) and are on their way to Naples. So....I have a longer drive to catch up with them, and a new plan....leave early tomorrow morning (Wednesday 3/31) and arrive in Naples late that evening.
I am sure this is going to cause adjustments to their whole time table of ports of call as it is going to take longer to sail around the tip of Florida than across the Okeechobee. Whatever....I will stay with them for a month, where ever that takes me.
